CEAT company was founded in the year of 1924 as Cavi Elettrici e Affini Torino (Electrical Cables and Allied Products of Turin) by Virginio Bruni Tedeschi in Italy but later with years and downfalls the ownership of the company changed many hands and at the last the company came in to the ownership of RPG Group in 1982 and later renamed as CEAT in 1990. At the current time the headquarters of this company is in Worli, Mumbai and it is headed by Harsh Goenka himself.

RPG Life Sciences (RPGLS) is an Indian pharmaceutical company which was earlier known as Searle (India) Ltd. RPG Life Sciences was started in 1968 as a joint venture with GD Searle, USA.
